Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026

National Apprenticeship Week 2026 (#NAW2026) showcased the growing range of apprenticeship opportunities across the maritime and transport sector. The MTCP team was active throughout the week, meeting young people, supporting schools and colleges, and promoting the powerful “Skills for Life” message embedded in apprenticeship pathways. MTCP supported events at Wildern School, Hedge End, Applemore College in the New Forest and Brookfield School in Locks Heath, engaging with hundreds of students, parents and carers
A major theme that emerged from attending the events was: “We didn’t realise there were so many amazing opportunities!”
