Opening Doors to the Future: MTCP at the Itchen Sixth Form College Careers Fair

The Maritime & Transport Careers Programme (MTCP) continued its mission to raise aspirations and increase sector visibility at the Itchen Sixth Form College Careers Fair. The event attracted over 2,000 students, making it one of the largest post‑16 careers events in the region.

With thousands of students circulating through the fair, the MTCP team had the opportunity to showcase the dynamic breadth of careers found within maritime and transport.

For many students at Itchen, this time of year marks an important stage in their progression planning: university choices, apprenticeship applications, employment pathways, or adjustments to their study programmes.
