The Maritime and Transport Careers Programme (MTCP) is proud to be exhibiting today at Seawork’s Maritime Training & Careers Day 2026, connecting with young people, educators, career changers and industry professionals to showcase the exciting opportunities within the maritime sector.

 The dedicated Careers Day on Thursday 11 June focuses on engaging students and young people with real-world pathways into maritime careers. Supporting Industry Growth Through Skills

 The event connects people directly with employers, helping them to:

 Explore career routes

  • Understand required skills and qualifications

  • Gain insight into real job roles and progression opportunities

 Throughout the day, the MTCP team is:

  •  Engaging with school and college groups from across the region

  • Sharing resources to support career decision-making

  • Promoting apprenticeships and training opportunities with partner organisations

  • Helping people “Explore, Discover, Decide” their future careers
