Making Waves in Maritime Careers: Learn Live Broadcast Reaches Thousands

In May, we partnered with Learn Live, an organisation that delivers live career broadcasts to young people across schools, colleges, and educational institutions—including Job Centre Plus. These broadcasts offer students the chance to hear directly from professionals across a wide range of industries.

May’s all-day broadcast focused on Maritime and logistics careers and the Maritime Transport Career Programme (MTCP), featuring presentations from Carnival UK, Meachers, ABP, Red Funnel and DP World. The event was a huge success, reaching over 9,000 students live, with an additional 3,000 views since.

This broadcast marked a milestone for Hampshire Careers Hub Learn Live Channel, achieving their largest single-day subscriber engagement to date. We're proud to have played a key role in this achievement—and thrilled to share that Learn Live has invited us back to host another event!
